Timings: Teachers are ready to receive children from 8.00 a.m. until
12.00 p.m. Please let us know if you are unable to collect your child on time.

The reception class finishes at 12.45 p.m.

Snacks: As we encourage healthy eating habits, please send a healthy snack such as a sandwich, plain biscuits, crisps or other snack, a piece of fruit and a drink. Water is available at all times. Please do not send chocolate, sweets, chewing gum, nuts or fizzy drinks.

Allergies: If your child has a food allergy please let us know on their registration form and also write this on their lunch box.

Reading Folders: To encourage a love of reading and books, a school library book will be sent home once a week for you to read with your child. A reading folder will be provided and this may be brought to school whenever you wish to change your child’s book.

Clothing: As we encourage creative activities such as painting, gluing etc, we recommend that your child wear their Budaiya Pre-School T. shirts to school with red shorts or skirt.

We also encourage the children to be as independent as possible, therefore please do not send your child dressed in clothes that are difficult to manage such as belts and clothes with many buttons. Should you wish to keep a spare set of clothes at school please put them into a plastic bag with your child’s name on it.

Nappies: If your child wears nappies please send a pack of nappies and wet wipes. We will let you know when a new supply is needed.

Personal items: We discourage the children from bringing toys from home as they may get lost or damaged. All belongings should be clearly labeled with your child’s name. Jewellery and money may become a chocking hazard.

Sickness: If your child is sick and unable to attend school please let us know as soon as possible. Please do not send your child if he/she has a fever or on medication that will affect their behaviour. In the event that your child becomes sick at school, we will contact you immediately.

Holidays: If you will be away on leave during the school term please let us know. Fees must be paid before you leave otherwise your child may lose their place.

One month’s written notice is required if you wish to take your child out of school otherwise full fees will be due.

Photographs: Regular photographs are taken of all the children taking part in various activities thoughout the month and on school outings. A CD of the months photographs may be ordered in the office at BD1.000.
